Park Place Condominiums
This project entailed the removal and replacement of a plaza level apron at the entrance to the condominium building, removal and replacement of hot-applied waterproofing and removal and replacement of the brick pavers. The owner needed the project completed in time to allow residents to access the swimming pool without having to navigate around the work area.
The condominium building was experiencing water intrusion from the plaza level apron causing concrete deterioration. The existing concrete, asphalt, pavers and hot-applied waterproofing needed to be removed completely to complete the repairs. Following the demolition, the crew manufactured a new re-bar cage and tied it into the existing slab. The repairs included multiple column caps and poured new concrete. The concrete was allowed to completely cure before new hot-applied waterproofing was applied to seal the garage from water intrusion. To complete the project, the crew needed to re-build the curb and replace the asphalt and pavers. This project demonstrates the capability of the Tally Restoration crews to undertake complex repairs with the coordination of structural engineers and complete the work on time and under budget.
